Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Uma Clips ("Uma", "we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

Uma lets you create short videos from text and cut clips from longer videos. The service uses AI and third-party providers, and its results can contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking a video before you publish it.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to enter into a contract.

Credits and payment

• You buy credits and spend them on actions. The price of an action in credits is shown before you start it.
• Credits do not expire while your account is active.
• If a job fails, the credits for it are returned to your balance automatically.
• Purchases of credits are final once the credits have been added, except where the law gives you a right to a refund.
• Prices and credit amounts can change. A change does not affect credits you have already bought.

Your content and your videos

You keep the rights to what you provide. You give us permission to process it only to run the service for you. You may use the videos you create on your own channels and for your clients.

You must have the right to any video you upload or link to, and you must not use Uma to infringe someone else's rights. Footage and images in generated videos come from licensed sources, but you remain responsible for how you use the finished video, including following the rules of the platform where you post it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Uma to make content that is illegal, deceptive in a harmful way, sexual involving minors, hateful, or that harasses others. Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or to get around limits and payment. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Uma available but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We can change or stop features. If we end the service, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it.

Termination

You can stop using Uma at any time and ask us to delete your account. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
