Uma listens
The speech is transcribed with timestamps, word by word.
It picks the moments
It looks for passages that stand on their own: a claim, a story, a punchline.
It reframes
The wide picture becomes a vertical one that follows the speaker.
It adds subtitles
Animated captions are burned in so clips work with the sound off.
You choose
Preview the clips, keep the ones you like and download them as MP4.
BEFORE AND AFTER

FAQ
Cut clips, answered
What can I upload?
Paste a link to a video or upload a file. Talking videos work best: podcasts, interviews, lectures, streams, webinars and commentary.
How does it choose the moments?
Uma transcribes the speech, reads the transcript and looks for self-contained moments with a clear hook and a payoff, then checks them against the picture before cutting.
Will the clip follow the speaker?
Yes. The frame is reframed to vertical and follows the speaker's face so they stay in view.
Does it add subtitles?
Yes. Clips are rendered with animated word-by-word subtitles, burned in.
What does it not do well?
Cut clips works from what is said, so videos with little or no speech, such as music videos or silent gameplay, give weaker results.
How much does it cost?
A cutting job costs 10 credits and returns the clips it finds. If the job fails, the credits come back automatically.
