Privacy policy

This policy explains what Uma Clips ("Uma", "we") collects when you use https://clip.umaai.site and the app, and why.
What we collect
- Account data. Your email address and a password hash, or the identifier your sign-in provider gives us.
- Content you provide. The briefs you type, the links you paste and the videos you upload, and the videos made from them.
- Usage and billing records. The jobs you run, your credit balance and your purchases. We do not store card numbers. Payments are handled by our payment providers.
- Technical data. Basic request logs such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
We use your data to run the service: to sign you in, make your videos, keep your credit balance correct, prevent abuse and answer your messages. We do not sell your personal data.
Who processes it
We rely on service providers to deliver the product. They process data on our behalf:
- Hosting and database, including account authentication.
- AI and speech providers that write scripts, transcribe audio and generate voices. Your briefs and the audio of videos you upload are sent to them for that purpose.
- Stock media providers that supply licensed footage and images. They receive search keywords, not your account details.
- Payment providers that process purchases.
Cookies and storage
We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and remember simple preferences such as language and theme. The public pages do not use advertising cookies.
Site statistics
The public pages count visits with our own anonymous analytics: which page was opened, which button was pressed, the referring site and any campaign tags in the link. A random identifier that lives only in the browser tab links the events of one visit. We do not store your IP address, we set no cookie and we do not build a profile. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is recorded.
Retention
We keep your account and your videos until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Billing records may be kept longer where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data. Write to support@umaai.site and we will respond.
Children
Uma is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
